WOW Programs
Let's make
Really, what don’t we do? We’ve set up shop at breweries, nature centers, museums, parking lots, libraries, festivals. We've created with S.T.E.M schools and taught home learners, two-hour workshops and week-long camps. All of our programming can be customized. Come to us at Casket Arts or we can come to you. All we need is space enough to park the bus.
The WOW loves folding science, art and nature together, learning about our communities and local ecology while celebrating individual creation and sharing the joys of casting metal.
Everyone should be able to create art. WOW was born from a desire to create accessible opportunities to people with different abilities. The WOW, and it’s creator Sara Hanson, are advocates for the ADA, compliance, and creative opportunities.
Teambuilding
WOW makes a special day extra memorable with our interactive metal casting. The WOW bus has parked at birthday parties, museums, nature centers, breweries, and more for unique transformative creation.
Our bus can accommodate a few to a few hundred and we're available for public or private events. See what we've created in the past here.

Education
We get our hands dirty on the WOW bus. Kids explore various foundry techniques in mold-making, sculpting, and casting. Science and art walk hand-in-hand as we transform a child's vision into tangible creation.
The WOW team takes each little artist through the entire process of casting metal – from safety gear to surface treatments – and demonstrates just how accessible this ancient process can be. It’s hands-on, interactive, exciting, empowering, collaborative work! We offer one-off classes, longer collaborations, and even summer camps.

Classes
Transformation has never been so fun. Our classes are informative, exciting, and empowering. The WOW celebrates personal expression and the process of object making and industry. Our classes offer an introduction to the form and function of cast metal - from the sculpture in your mind’s eye to utilitarian objects.
All programming is accessible to most ages and all abilities.
