Love for Workshop on Wheels

Sara is a kind, patient and demonstrative teacher.
— Laura D’Andrea, first time pourer

I had a great time crafting my pieces and my RBG necklace and Open Casket sculpture both turned out spectacular! At first, I was unsure and thought (and even exclaimed out loud), “ I can’t do this!” but Sara is a kind, patient and demonstrative teacher and guided me when I wasn’t sure what to do next. She has a passion for metal work and it shows. The metal pour was fascinating and primal. I highly recommend a day or night out at the WOW Lab. And, if you can’t make it to NE Minneapolis to the Casket Arts Sculpture Quad, no worries! The WOW comes to you!

I could not be prouder of her!
— Andrea Petrini, Artist and Director of Institutional Giving and Government Affairs at the Guggenheim Museum

I have had the pleasure of being close friends with Sara for many years. The concept of the Workshop on Wheels has been brewing for as long as I've known her and to see how far she has come with the now fully operational BUS! and the amazing response to the workshops she offers, I could not be prouder of her! Not only is she inspiring makers of all ages to experience metal work, she also fascinates and engages viewers with her own brilliant sculptures. This artist takes her medium in every direction and her deep commitment to public art and community is evident in all she does. W.O.W. is wow! and so is Sara Hanson!
