Get inspired by women using science, technology, and the humanities to make the world a better place. Visit The Bakken Museum for a family-focused event featuring hands-on activity tables, interactive experiments, and demonstrations by community partners.
We will have a table inside of the Bakken Museum pouring lead-free pewter into rubber molds and talking about extremophiles!
What do extremophiles and metal-casting have in common? Heat! Learn about the cast metal process and pour metal into a rubber mold to create your own space or deep-sea extremophile casting.
