DESCRIPTION:Bridging scientific knowledges and human relationships with water\nI am thrilled to be offering a Cast Metal Make + Take for the “We Are Water MN” traveling exhibit 2026 debut at their first zoo host site! Learn more about water at the newly renovated Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo\, alongside the many animals that call it home there. \nCast Metal Make + Take\nScience and art walk hand-in-hand as you transform your vision into a tangible creation.  Choose from a variety of “We Are Water MN” themed silicone molds – North American River Otter\, Bald Eagle\, water molecule – from natural elements\, 3d prints and found objects for you to cast your own small sculpture or wearable.  Experience the transformation of liquid metal into a solid casting – choose your mold\, pour metal\, watch as it becomes a solid and pop it out!  For ages 5 and up. No experience necessary. \nThe We Are Water Traveling Exhibit\nThe traveling exhibit examines water issues statewide and in local communities through personal stories\, histories\, and scientific information. It strengthens Minnesotans’ relationships with water\, exposes visitors to new perspectives\, and increases participation in water stewardship activities. \nWe Are Water MN deepens connections between the humanities and water through a network of partnerships\, a traveling exhibit\, and public events.
