DESCRIPTION:Proceed gently and ease the pressure with yourself during the Aquarius New Moon and post-retrograde Mercury and Mars phase under the dark night.  Fresh energy is here with the Aquarius New Moon! Now is a gentle time to clear cobwebs and experience clarity  – while – you plant seeds\, set intentions\, and consider all you would like to draw close to you. \nThe New Moon is a time to cleanse\, renew\, and rewire to bring in the new – life patterns\, visions and luck! This metal casting transformational ritual conveys an act in which we join the metaphysical with the physical and call spirit into our material lives with the creation of a personal cast metal sculpture\, amulet\, pendant\, pin\, necklace\, bolo tie\, what-have-you. Cast your New Moon vision into metal and memorialize your transformation. \nIn this all hands-on\, creative and exciting class you will carve an original design (or choose from a selection of symbols and imagery) into a cuttlefish bone to create negative space. That space is filled with lead-free pewter to create your original metal casting. You pour the metal into your mold\, do finishing work with hand files and colored inks are optional. Hand-stamp a word of intention and mount your sculpture on metal/wood/stone base\, affix jewelry hardware or put it in your pocket. No experience necessary. \nCreate\, snack + sip (refreshments\, wine/beer and non-alcoholic beverages)\, converse and learn how to cast metal! \n***This class will take place INSIDE the Casket Arts Factory Building (same building as the NE Sculpture Gallery Factory).\nThe WOW bus is on winter break and will return in April!
