DESCRIPTION:According to National Day Calendar\, December 18 is Answer the Telephone Like Buddy the Elf Day and encourages everyone to add some elf behavior to their day! \n“Buddy the Elf was played by Will Farrell in the 2003 movie Elf. Answering the phone like Buddy the Elf not only surprises unsuspecting callers\, but it brightens their day\, too. As your day goes along\, it will most certainly brighten yours! Who can resist a giggle or a smile when being elf-like.” \nHOW TO OBSERVE #AnswerThePhoneLikeBuddyTheElfDay\n“Simply answer the phone and say “(Insert your Name) here\, what’s your favorite color.” As you answer\, smile and spread some joy. It’s nearly impossible not to. Encourage others to do the same. If you call someone\, don’t be surprised by the elf-like voice.” \nAdditional ways to celebrate as you answer the phone include dressing up and creating your own tiny-sized cast metal elfen flare – a telephone\, ugly sweater\, stocking and more to choose from amongst the molds of the Cabinet of Curious Castings.  You can dress like an elf\, wear a Santa hat or an ugly sweater. Or\, just put on your happy face and pour metal to celebrate our otherworldly and charming elfen selves and friends. \nYou pour lead-free pewter\, do finishing work and finalize with hardware/base/color to create your sculpture\, jewelry\, ornament\, magnet\, plant charm or what-have-you? \n$10 per casting. Approximately 30-60 minutes.  Adult and kid-friendly atmosphere.  This class is in the Casket Factory Building and not in the WOW bus.  Sanitized space/tools and masks required. \nAnother way to celebrate Answer the Phone Like Buddy the Elf Day is by telling elf jokes. It’s all in the spirit of the day. Elves spread fun where ever they go.  Q: What kind of music do elves like best?  A: Wrap music!

SUMMARY:New Year's Eve Water Casting Intention Setting + Fortune Telling
DESCRIPTION:*class takes place in the Casket Arts Factory – not the WOW Mobile Metal Lab and Show. \nManifest and predict your 2022 fortune at this magical\, spirited and shared group experience! \nPartake in the ancient culture-spanning New Year’s Eve tradition of molybdomancy –  the art of pouring lead-free pewter (previously used lead/tin) into a bowl of water to solidify into shapes and textures that hold fortunes of your 2022 year. \nYou will be given a symbolic metal casting to melt into your personal Fortune Casting.  But first you will hold in your hands while meditating on your intentions and for the molecular exchange with you and the metal to occur.  Then\, keeping  your vision close\, you will melt it in a spoon over a flame and pour it into the bowl of water. \nAfter your casting has cooled\, you will remove it and observe the shapes/textures in your hand and in the shadow that it projects on the wall.  Together\, as a group\, we consult with you and the Fortune Chart to determine your 2022 fortune. \nSelect your jewelry hardware or the right base for your Fortune Sculpture from a selection of marble\, stone\, metal and wood \nWe will be snacking\, sipping\, having fun and feeling the magic together!
