DESCRIPTION:CasketArts presents…..OPEN CASKET \nThe premier open studio event of the year\nNovember 5 – 6\, 2021\nFriday 5-10pm + Saturday 10am – 6pm\n(WOW MOBILE METAL LAB WILL NOT BE OPEN ON SUNDAY) \nWOW EVENTS\nMAKE + TAKE = $10\nFriday 5-10pm and Saturday 10am-2pm/no pre-registration \nChoose your design from the Collection of Curious Castings\nPour lead-free pewter\nFile and polish\nMake it a sculpture\, pendant or keychain \nCREATE + CAST YOUR CASKET WORKSHOP = $50\nFriday 5-9pm and Saturday 2-6pm/tickets required/limited molds \nSand Mold Direct Carve Workshop:\nLearn how to carve designs and imagery into a casket shape sand mold\,\npour aluminum\, do finishing work to your casting and add colored inks if desired. \n\nOPEN CASKET\nJoin us for a weekend of art\, craft\, food\, and fun\, as our talented tenant artists invite you into their studios to see all of their amazing work. You’ll find paintings\, prints\, jewelry\, sculpture\, textiles\, ceramics\, photography\, woodworking\, furniture\, gifts\, and more. Take in some art and maybe even take some home with you! \nVisit artists and artisans in all three buildings on the Casket Arts campus:\nthe main building\, the Carriage House\, and the Factory\, home to NE Sculpture Gallery.\nThere will be food trucks out front and Groveland Confections inside.
